Let me start off by saying that Nascar Racing is a typical racing game, but extremely detailed. It can be customized to suite both an amateur and a hardcore fan, whichever suits you more. All in all, Nascar Racing is one of the first detailed Nascar games and should be respected for that fact alone. Try it out!

One of the best arcade basketball games ever made, Acclaim's NBA Jam is a great conversion of the blockbuster arcade game to PC. The Tournament Edition features several options not available on the original ... Jam TE remains a blast to play. The power-ups, secret characters and hotspots make it a different game every time you play, and it's even more fun when you are playing against a friend or friends.

Necrodome is an excellent futuristic sport game that is ranks among Raven Software's most underrated titles. The description on the game's official page says it all about what makes the game original, ... for its unique co-op multiplayer gameplay. If you like DOOM, Rocket Jockey, or both, you will enjoy Necrodome, a game in which Raven once again proved themselves master of the action/FPS genre.
Network Q RAC Rally is a classic racing sim based on the rally championship of the same name, held annually in Britain. Despite somewhat pixellated graphics and awful-looking scenery (especially cardboard-cutout ... EA, this original 1993 version still packs enough thrills and spills to please every rally fan. Overall, a solid entry to a "niche" subgenre -- there just aren't enough rally sims around.
A faithful translation of a fun arcade sports game (a rare event in itself) by Konami, NFL Football is a fun football game that offers a good balance between coaching and action without taking itself too ... to its heritage as a coin-op game. A great strategy-oriented basketball game by Omni-Play, this game was re-released in 1990 by Virgin Mastertronic as Magic Johnson's MVP with the same excellent gameplay that offers a wealth of managerial options, including full drafting and (long!) league play. Plays are realistic, and players are rated for each ability, which can be improved. In all, a solid basketball game.
Outside Germany, the Anstoß (a.k.a. On the Ball) series is rather unknown. Which is a shame, because this is easily the best series of football (or for US residents: soccer) management series ever made, ... write a book. Its incredible detail, immense replayability, and its "non-dryness" that draws you into it make it a great game that stands out tall from the crowd of soccer management games.

Review 1: I remember playing this game when I was in year 3, I use to always play my friend, and beat him every time :). Michael Jordan faces off against Larry Bird in a one-on-one challenge! You can ... every respect, although it doesn't have quite the same charm as its CGA predecessor... probably because it's no longer pioneering the new genre ;) Still a must-play for every basketball fan, though.

Nicknamed "The Bulldog" ... simulation by any means, but for anyone looking to do a quick homer, this is as good as it gets. As easy as it is to make a decent baseball simulation, making a great one requires that little touch of insight that baseball is a great game where great things happen. Out of the Park Baseball 2 has that ... folders can quickly grow to thirty or fifty megabytes. This title is steadily improving with each version. OOTP2 is almost perfect as it is. If you want a true baseball simulation, this is it.
