Review 1:
The usual strip poker game with one girl. Only this time there is NO bluffing at all! You can win the game just by simply analyzing the behavior of the girl. If she bets 5 and you have nothing at all - simply raise to 25 and she'll drop. It is always the same, no way she'll raise or call. The game is easy and the pics are...well, better than in first two Strip Poker games from Artworx.
Review 2:
Most likely the worst game from quirky French developer ERE Informatique (which later became Cryo Interactive), Teenage Queen is a strip poker-- nothing more, nothing less. But ERE games are nothing if not unique, and Teenage Queen is no exception. What sets Teenage Queen apart from other strip poker games is the beautiful graphics, which uses airbrush to great effect. The game also is notable for having no cards lower than the value of 10, and this makes a typical game go much faster than a normal strip poker (I'm sure most of you will like this fact) The PC version, being 16-color EGA only, unfortunately loses much of the graphics appeal.. that airbrush effect doesn't show up very well at all. Still, ERE's unique graphics touch is evident, and the girls' provocative poses may --ahem-- keep you playing for just a few minutes longer each time. Overall, one of the most graphically unique strip poker games ever made-- unfortunately, it's still strip poker. Anyone who abhors the thought of playing (almost) mindless card game just to see some girl strip her lingerie off should look the other way.
Review 3:
Gameplay is fairly simple 5 card draw poker, and the teenage computer opponent removes an item of clothing after you get a certain amount of money off her. She is a bit predictable but has way too much money so it takes some time to win which I guess can be a good thing as it keeps you occupied a little longer. She's quite nicely done - better in the EGA (16 color) version of the game but unfortunately most of the time you only see her eyes and the cards.
Overall if you remember back to the days when computers were limited in graphics, sound and interactivity or if you're addicted to poker games, you might appreciate the game. It's not really very original but the mouse input and slightly higher resolution make it better then the Artworx strip poker series (except Strip Poker 3 which is quite good).
