Here it is gentlemen. The game that started an enormous line of adult themed poker games for the personal computer. Designed in the middle eighties, this game was the one that made that teenage party activity and adult fantasy a tangible activity that would tease and tantalize. It was the premier adult game of its time, and while the pixilated, dated graphics won't do much to stimulate the modern man, this is a mature classic with great nostalgic and sentimental value, as well as a certain place in history as the forerunner to all other adult card games.
Like the Strip Poker games in this series that closely followed, the user can play against two girls, Melissa and Suzi. The game play is a very standard variety of five card draw poker, similar to a video poker machine in a casino. There are no variations such as seven card stud, deuces wild, jacks or better, or the popular Texas Hold 'Em. There is no betting or anteing. The user simply is dealt five cards for his hand. He chooses which of the five cards he would like to keep and which he would like to throw back and have replaced with new cards. He does this and his hand is compared with the girl's hand. If his hand is higher than hers, she takes off some of her clothes.
Most of the girls are clothed pretty well to add to the tease factor. The user has to win roughly five hands before he gets to see anything noteworthy. Suzi is wearing a blouse, jeans, a teddy beneath them, and underwear besides. Melissa features a skirt, sexy top, and layers of underwear. With the poor quality graphics, even the show that is revealed is more of a suggestion of what the user knows is there as opposed to an actual hot display that will really fire up the user. Moreover, the position in which the girls are pictured are made to conceal the "good parts" and tease the user. While the poses are alluring, they are also excellent camouflage for the privates, though a nipple may pop out on occasion.
In summary, this game does not feature superior and stimulating game play or superior and stimulating photography. Its value is as a classic grandfather of the genre, unless the user enjoys game after game of video poker. If that is not out of the question, or if you are collector of the genre, give this a whirl.
