Review 1:
Metal & Lace 2 is a vastly superior game to the first Metal & Lace game, which was published in the US by MegaTech. It's still a Hentai (adult/nudity) game, but at least the action is a lot better this time around.
The basic gameplay stays the same as the first game: set in the far future, you and your opponent remotely pilot female robots ("Robo-Babes") who duel each other in futuristic arenas. After each win (two rounds required to win a match), you are treated to pictures of the robot getting undressed at a local strip bar, and the number of pictures depend on how well you fought the battles. For example, if you win both rounds with simple attack moves, you will get to see 2 pictures. But if you win both rounds with special moves, you will see 4 pictures. If for some reason you find nude pictures of anime girls titillating, you might enjoy Metal & Lace 2. But even fans of fighting games who don't like Hentai will find much to like in the fluid animations and a good variety of Robo-Babes and special moves. You may lose as many times as you want, but if you lose at least once, you won't get to fight the last champion girl.
Overall, Metal & Lace 2 is a marked improvement over the first game. It's still far from being a "must-have" (and not as good as V.G. Max, a better-known Hentai fighting game), but it's quite decent. Hentai fans will be happy to hear that the Hentai screens are presented in sharp 640x480 SVGA resolution (as opposed to 320x200 for fighting scenes). Not a Top Dog, but not far from being one.
Review 2:
Metal and Lace 2 is apart of the Metal and Lace sequel where you will be taking control of one of the Robo Babes who are in combat with one another. The game has been set in the far future with the robotic bodies along with the futuristic arenas.
There are a total of three rounds per match, but you are only required to win two of those rounds. When you are the winner you will be rewarded with scandalize pictures of the Robo babes taking off their clothing at the local strip joint. You will receive more photos with better matches meaning more combinations and not getting hit too many times.
There are many different characters that you will be able to select from. Each has there own unique moves and specialties that make them more interesting. You will have to compete in the game to further yourself along in the game making it that you are able to use more of the characters opening special things throughout the wins. If you do end up loosing one fight there is a downside to this, you will no longer be able to compete against the last championship girl, who has been designed to be the sexiest and scandalize Robo babe of the entire game.
The overall game design has been done with third dimensional graphical details. The animation of the characters and combat scenes is very sweet and great. There are a lot of details placed into every graphical design of the game including the backgrounds. Each character has their own uniforms and sounds that make it that you are capable of depicting your character easily during combat. The sounds relate to the Japanese scene, sounding like Japanese females and the phrases they say are Japanese. Overall, the games design has been placed together with a lot of thought to the overall appeal for the gamers.
Metal and Lace 2 has been said to be the better version in the sequel. There are more action packed scenarios and the overall animation has improved greatly compared to the original Metal and Lace.
The game has been done with the viewers definitely in mind with the overall game design. Metal and Lace 2 has become a little more difficult to beat your opponents and with more moves and combinations that you are able to do there is endless possibilities with every single match. Even though you may find that you are defeating your opponents, you will be experiencing new moves and tons more combinations compared to the original. The graphics and sound have been done to be able to meet up with the overall game, making this game an extraordinary game for new and old gamers.
If you are looking to take part in an action packed combat game with sexy girls who are willing to take their clothes off for you just because you won your match, then Metal and Lace 2 is the perfect game for you. This game has been rated R due to the fact that there is some nudity involved in the game. Overall, it's a superb game in many aspects. I recommend downloading it!
